    Have stuck to western digital external hard drive and not had any problems for many years. Like any external hard drive I renew them every couple of years for extra storage and to save any disappointment of losing the collection I've built up. Does everything I need at an affordable price.     It does the job.

    This item is quiet, and does what you'd expect. Not dazzlingly fast, but then it's a hard drive. Takes a second or two to spin up when plugged in. I wanted a reliable drive to act as a backup for all my music, photos, videos etc, and it does that well. Time is not an issue, as it starts work when I finish. I have the 2tb version. Light and easy to transport, comes with usb cable.
